Becoming an Artist has been a dream as well as an outlet for me to express how and
what I feel about our surroundings.
I am a self taught Artist and think sometimes that this might be of value to me because
there is no outside influences about how I perceive the subject  I'm painting. Painting
    what I feel.
I've  studied the techniques and styles of different Artists  and what I need to learn to
create a work of Art using my own style and technique.

Tom Thomson of the Group of Seven learned and painted what he seen for himself.

Capturing what he seen in it's natural surroundings, showing all of  it's colour and
beauty. Monet  adapted his Impressionism style into the Art world and is still  a
very popular style of Landscape Art today.

The beauty of a sunset,a pine tree in a northern January winter breeze. The
crispness of a new fallen snow and the blue from the sky .   All having natural beauty.

I choose to paint landscape and seascapes as one of my main subjects mostly because of
the natural colours they contain. The bright  blues of a summer sky, the richness of
    the greens in a meadow.
The unlimited number of possibilities there for us to enjoy .

I hope you'll  enjoy the Gallery's and it's photos as much as I did creating them
